WHAT IS IT LIKE WORKING WITH G.G. EVENTS?

It’s a lot like working with the coach of a team. We help guide you and keep you on track. We offer advice and explantations of the world of events. Along, with overseeing and stepping in when need to keep you as stress free as possible.

DO I REALLY NEED A PLANNER?

Yes, yes you do. While your venue may say they have someone on staff to help you, that person still works for a venue and is limited in what they can do for you. Even if full planning is not in your budget our event management is a service for everyone. You and your event are our priority. We want to help you have the best event possible.

HOW INVOLVED WILL I GET TO BE IN THE PLANNING PROCESS?

Very. We get to know you, your style, personalities and wants, so we can eliminate the overwhelming amount of information out there and stream-line it. When working on decisions of who, what, when and where the finale choice is yours. We just make it easier with guidance and experience. Event days are your chance to actually enjoy it and leave the rest to us.

HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU TAKE ON A YEAR?

We limit the number of weddings to two a month. The goal is to keep ourselves as available as possible to our clients and make their planning process and day as lovely as possible. We cap with 10 weddings a year and up to 5 events, depending on year.

ARE YOU CERTIFIED?

I sure am. I have been certified for the past 10 years a Professional Wedding Planner through the Association of Bridal Consultants. Last year I spent some time on the local board working with other planners and education. I also run a group for local planners that help out with resources, encouragement and education.

    Truly Magical

    When we decided to follow our dreams and started planning our Space Dragon wedding - Ceremony in the Planetarium and reception in the Lost World of Dr...agons exhibit of the museum - it didn't take long for us to realize we needed help!
    I called many planners, and Terri instantly impressed me with her knowledge, communication skills, and competence. She respected my budget and gave me plenty of tips to get the most bang for my buck!
    My wedding was so magical and Terri kept everything running so smoothly. All of my guests had an amazing time, and my vendors and wedding party were so impressed with her. I will be forever thankful!

    Forever grateful for G.G Events/Terri!

    As a bride who didn't know what she wanted, Terri was a GREAT match for me. There are so many ways that Terri was wonderful (responsive, professional,... creative, warm, PATIENT, assertive, etc) but what I most appreciated was the way she made my non-vision into a vision. We had a small family only wedding in Jekyll Island. Terri thought of every detail and was incredibly respectful of our COVID safety precautions. There was torrential rain and wind all day on my wedding day (except for the 20 min ceremony) and Terri was decisive, supportive and consistent. I so appreciated her guidance and kindness through this process. She was great at working within my budget and never pressured me into something I didn't want. I should I also note that I planned this Jekyll Island wedding from New York, having never been to Jekyll! She was just awesome. The team she brought with her on the day were also lovely and dedicated to making our day run smoothly. Her vendor suggestions were amazing and I feel so lucky to have found her!

    Best Decision We Ever Made for Our Wedding!

    The only regret I have working with Terri and GG Events is that we did not hire her earlier to help us with our entire wedding planning process. We g...ot Terri involved closer to our wedding date for more of a Day of Coordinator role. Once she sprung into action for us we immediately knew we had made the best decision ever. Terri and her staff are so wonderful, knowledgeable, and experienced and she not only delivered in every way, but exceeded our expectations. Our wedding would have NEVER been so amazing without her!
