It is an historic plot on which some of the first Vitis Vinifera vines were planted in Texas. Ed and Susan Auler planted this sixth generation ranch land in 1975 after an inspiring trip to the prestigious vineyards of France. The rolling hills and pink granite outcrops of this Hill Country vineyard site are located at the northwest corner of Lake Buchanan.
