I BELIEVE THAT EVERY PERSON HAS SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL ABOUT THEM. I AM NOT GOING TO TURN YOU AWAY BECAUSE YOU ARE TOO SHORT, TALL, FAT, SKINNY, UGLY.

I am also not going to turn you away because you are getting married in a church or a barn or in space (please get married in space). I shoot all of the locations and I show them off proudly. Imperfections are what make my photography beautiful. Your unique love is what makes it come alive. The way the two of you fit together like a puzzle piece is what creates the sparks in my images. It is you. Normal, imperfect you. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. So bring on the fluffy, the insecure, the uncomfortable. I am going to show you just how freakin’ beautiful you actually are.

PHOTOGRAPHY SHOULDN’T JUST BE ABOUT RECEIVING PICTURES. IT SHOULD BE ABOUT RECEIVING AN EXPERIENCE YOU CAN TAKE WITH YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

I am not going to tell you to stand there and smile. ‘Okay, now more serious. Okay, now smile again. Okay, we are done. See you at the wedding’. I am going to offer up suggestions on some incredible locations for your sessions and we are going to have a blast shooting. I am going to lead you along the way to get the two of you interacting and playing with each other. You might even forget we are talking pictures.

The point is, I don’t just show up and shoot. This is more than that to me. Way more.
