FAQs

Yes! Our small parking lot has a handicapped parking space that vendors will not use. We also have an elevator that takes you all floors that the event will be using.
The West Wing sitting room is available for wedding parties to use during the event as a staging area.
Tables and chairs are not included nor provided by Dumbarton House. They must be provided by an outside vendor.
Events cannot start setting up until 3pm, which is when the museum closes to the public. At 8:30pm, all amplified music has to be moved indoors, so most dance floors use the indoor Belle Vue Room and most dining receptions are in the adjoining Lower Courtyard. After 11:30pm, all amplified music must end on our property - even indoors. Though most couples choose to end their party at that time, you're welcome to continue partying with acoustic music. Most couples end up renting Dumbarton House for 9 hours.
Dumbarton House has a maximum capacity of 200 guests.
