When I was seventeen, I got my first camera and (as teenage girls often do) really enjoyed taking pictures with friends. As a photographer, I get to be a hype girl & make you look and feel beautiful. Which is a pretty great way to spend my time. When I started college, I moved to California and started my business from my freshman dorm room. I recently moved back home to Salt Lake, got married, and had my first kid in Summer 2021.

I still firmly believe taking photos should be fun. My photo shoots are just opportunities to dress up & goof off with friends. And I am so grateful for the opportunity to be invited into the lives of bright, genuine, quirky, nerdy, teasing dorks.

Additionally, I really do believe in the importance of photos. I love going through old photos of my family/friends and sharing stories together.

Anyway, I’ve hopefully explained why you’re not going to see a nature photo from me.
