Big Day Events is the love-child of Veronica Stivers, a dedicated and seasoned event manager based in Louisville, Kentucky. With a twenty-plus year career in every aspect of the hospitality industry, she has seen and done it all, and uses her expansive set of skills to make events run seamlessly. Veronica attended Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, SC, where she studied Baking & Pastry. She lives by the Julia Child adage, “A party without cake is just a meeting.” After coming home to Louisville, she operated top restaurants, sold wine and spirits, coordinated multi-state events for a bourbon brand, and managed events at Louisville’s 21c Museum Hotel. In addition to weddings, she designs and executes corporate events from New York to California to London, as well as conferences and social events.

Veronica is the first to arrive and the last to leave. She loves a great theme and a well-designed spreadsheet like nothing else. She works tirelessly for her clients to ensure that no detail is missed. She does the hard stuff so you can relax and make memories.

She spends free time with her family, as mom to Ronan and Willa, who are her favorite people to throw parties for. Her greatest event secret weapon is her artist/craftsman husband Brad, who can literally design and build everything she dreams up. You can also find her at bootcamp, traveling, dining out, crafting, and dreaming up new ways to inject style into her fixer-upper Highlands home.
