The creation of A Simple Cake.

A Simple Cake was started in 2009 and has been entrusted to the mastery of pastry chef Nicolle Lugo since 2017 (2010 ICE alumni). The philosophy remains that the wedding industry needs bakers to provide beautiful cakes that are affordable and easy to order while maintaining quality.

We have always tried to pay very close attention to what our clients’ needs and wishes are. A Simple Cake was created out of just that. More and more often, as much as the gloriously decorated cakes with a garden of hand molded sugar flowers on them were desired, budget and style concepts lead so many brides to say they wanted a delicious cake and a “simple cake”, not plain, not without style or quality, but simple elegance.

The website was also designed to make ordering a wedding or celebration cake easy and stress free so you can have more time to focus on some of your other planning details.
