1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hello! We are Isaiah and Carolina. A husband and wife duo with a passion for capturing raw and authentic moments. Our love for videography started after we began documenting our own everyday adventures. Having the ability to rewind to some of our happiest moments is something we'll forever cherish and we want to give our couples just that.
2. How long have you been filming weddings? How many weddings have you filmed?
We launched Robertson Video just a few months before Covid-19 hit. With a jam packed 2020 ahead of us, we were devastated when Arizona shut down entirely. After 7 months of rescheduling and postponements, we were finally able to get back to doing what we loved! Filming a wedding basically every weekend, sometimes 2 or 3 back to back, there hasn't been a dull moment since.
3. How would you describe your videography style?
Our highlight films are designed to share the most important moments of your day in a cinematic and captivating way. Our goal with every film is to make you feel something, to take you back to that moment and allow you to relive that day over and over. We try to capture every in between detail to create a video unique to you and your special day.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding videographer?
To secure a wedding videographer you love, we recommend 12-18 months out.
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
Our 3 packages include our Sahara Collection, Oasis Collection & Oasis Plus. Our Sahara Collection includes up to 5 hours of coverage with a start and end time of your choosing. We recommend this package for micro weddings or couples wanting a simple yet elegant wedding recap. Our Oasis Collection will include a full day of coverage all the way from prep - party! We throw in aerial drone footage and you'll receive a highlight film of up to 6 minutes. Our most popular package is our Oasis Plus. This includes bonuses like professional audio, a 1 minute teaser, separate video delivery of your ceremony, and full toasts. We work with all of our couples to make a recommendation that will best suit their needs.
6. Are you the wedding videographer who will be filming on the wedding day? How many camera people and cameras will be operating on the day?
Yes! Robertson Video is owned operated by the two of us, Isaiah and Carolina. A bonus to being a husband and wife team is that all of our packages include two videographers. Our usual set up is two separate cameras, unless you choose our a La Carte Ceremony & Toasts Edit add-on, we will set up a third camera to get an additional angle.
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
Travel fees apply to all locations outside of a 40 mile radius of Phoenix, Arizona.
8. How do you back-up your footage to ensure no footage is lost and for how long do you keep the footage after the wedding?
As soon as we finish shooting a wedding, we upload all of the footage to an external hard drive. From there we work on your wedding film and export the final video to both our hard drive and an online streaming platform. We encourage all of our couples to download the video immediately and store it to a hard drive for safe keeping. We will hang on to all raw footage and the final video for 6 months following your wedding day.
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the video? And how will the video be delivered?
Our usual turnaround time is 10-15 weeks. We understand how excited and anxious you’ll be to see your wedding film (we were too!), but between hours of footage sorting, audio mastering, and color grading, it’ll take dozens of hours to create a video we know you’ll love. Trust us when we say it’ll be worth the wait! Our wedding films are delivered through an online streaming platform with a private link available for you to share with family and friends.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
Payments made before the event date shall be defined as "Retainer(s)" and are nonrefundable upon cancellation of the event, but may be reapplied subject to availability if the event is rescheduled.
