1. Introduction: What's your story?
Hi, my name is Lenin Fraga and I am the founder of American Transportation and Limousine Services. I began my business during the 2008 housing market crash. I initially owned a printing company and had one or two major clients that I lost when the crash happened. I had to close down my business and I began working as a chauffeur for a transportation company.
I had always had an affinity for cars but while working as a chauffeur, I found a passion in the customer service industry. Many other transportation companies lack the luxury and customer service to make them great. I knew there was a hole to be filled needing professional, personalized transportation where everyone you spoke with would be nicer than the last.
I began my company with other chauffeurs that had the best customer service and a small company was formed. Every team member in my company is family, most chauffeurs have been with me since I started this company. Some are actually family, with my wife, cousin, family friends and sister assisting me with reservations and bookings.
Wedding transportation came once we were more experienced, as it is a very delicate day and much preparation goes into it beforehand. We acquired beautiful vehicles for weddings such as our Cadillac Escalade Limousine, our Vintage White Rolls Royce, our white Mini coaches for guests and more.
We have talented wedding associates to handle weddings specifically and make sure everything goes smoothly. From the first contact, you can get a feel for our company. You are sent pictures and videos of the actually car you will receive and information on our company via a proposal. We consistently follow up and confirm the day before. Live status updates are sent at all times, when the chauffeur is on his way to when he has arrived. We offer wedding packages to add extra flourish to your day, with some options being decorations, red carpet and champagne.
2. What type of vehicles do you offer? (Describe the types, sizes, capacity and colors)
We have many categories. For premium sedans, we have a Lincoln Continental and a Volvo S90 that seats 2 passengers and has a black exterior.
We have Luxury SUV's such as Cadillac Escalade or Lincoln Navigator that seat up to 4 passengers comfortably and have a black exterior
For guest transportation, we have different types of Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van with beautiful plush seating and capacity that ranges from 11 to 13 passengers.
The next size is our 27, 37 and 54 passenger Buses. They are a white exterior and have soft plush leather seating.
For limousines, we have a Chrysler 300 that seats 8 passengers and has a white exterior. A Cadillac Escalade Stretch Limousine that seats up to 20 passengers and is white as well.
Then we have a Mercedes Benz High Top Limousine in black or white exterior that seats 12 passengers.
For vintage vehicles, we have a white vintage Rolls Royce that seats 2 passengers comfortably and has beautiful burgundy leather chairs and a white pearl exterior.
And then we also have Limo Style buses ranging from 25 to 35 passengers with a white and black exterior.
3. What amenities do your vehicles have (TV, bar, sunroof)? Will beverages/food be provided?
Our limousines and Partybuses come stocked with ice, cups, waters and soda. They all have bright fun lighting and high quality speakers connected via bluetooth or aux that you can control all from a panel in the seating area.
They all have at least one mini bar station with the bigger limousines having more.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding transportation?
When is the right time to book your wedding transportation?
We recommend as soon as you know all the details of your wedding and your guests count, to confirm your booking. Our busiest months are from September to May.
We recommend to book at least 3 weeks in advance, specially if it is a weekend.
5. How much does it cost to book your services? What is the hire price for each of your vehicles?
We have different packages tailored according to the vehicle, number of passengers, locations, and duration. Our pricing is dynamic and changes according to demand and availability. To provide exact pricing and availability, we recommend to reach out to us so we can tailor a proposal for you.
6. What do you recommend for timing? (How long does a service last?)
Typically ranged from 3 hours to 5 hours
7. Are the chauffeurs professionally hired and then trained?
All our chauffeurs are background checked, drug tested, customer service trained and very professional. We only hire the best to assist you on your wedding day.
8. What does the driver wear on the wedding day?
All our chauffeur wear a black suit and white shirt with the company tie being a blue color.
9. What are the back-up options if a vehicle breaks down on the day of the wedding?
We reach out to the contact of the day and make her aware of the situation and try to send a back-up vehicle that is similar in size and style.
10. What are your cancellation and refund policies?
Our cancellation policy are as follows:
Sedans and SUVs: 24 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time
Limousines: 7 days prior to scheduled pickup time
Mercedes S550s: 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time
Rides outside of the U.S: 48 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time
*Any deposits held by American Transportation are NON-REFUNDABLE
*In the case of a cancellation before the allowed time, a credit will be held and can be used indefinitely with no expiration and can be applied worldwide with us
No Show Policy
If a Client fails to show at the designated location for which a scheduled reservation has been made, a No-Show Fee equal to 100% of the total trip cost is charged to the credit card on file. This includes any cancellations after a chauffeur has reached or is in route to a reservation's location.
