1. Introduction: What's your story?
I'm Jason Strohbehn. Owner of JLS Photo in Lincoln, Nebraska. I've been a wedding photographer for over 6 years now and have been a part of nearly 100 weddings. I've enjoyed getting to work with some amazing couples and I'm so thankful to get to be a part of one of the most special days of their lives. My goal with my wedding photography is for you to be able to look at my photos and be brought back to that moment and remember exactly how it looked and felt.
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
I have been shooting weddings since 2014 and have been a part of nearly 100 weddings.

3. How would you describe your photography style?
My photography style is as natural as I can make it. My ultimate goal, with my photography, is for you to look at your wedding photos 20 years from now and remember exactly how that moment looked and felt. I capture 90% of my weddings using a 50mm lens, which many photographers believe to be the same look as to how your natural eye sees the world. I also edit using very few effects or color changes so your images literally look as they did on wedding day.
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
I always recommend booking your wedding photographer right after booking your venue. If you have a specific wedding photographer you would like to use, reach out to them before booking the venue to ensure they are available for the date and location you are looking at.
My peak booking months are generally November through February as more people are getting engaged and people are really getting focused on planning their weddings for the following year. I generally limit my weddings to only 10-15 weddings a year so I start being fully booked for the year around April/May.
My busiest months always seem to be May and October. For this year most of my weddings for the entire year are in those 2 months.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
I offer 4 packages: Ultimate, Platinum, Gold, and Silver. My most common package is my platinum package which comes with an Engagement Session, 10 hours of wedding day coverage, a second photographer, and 2 week delivery time. My most luxurious package is the Ultimate Package which adds a third photographer and a personal attendant for the couple on the wedding day to take care of all your needs.

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
I am the primary photographer for all my weddings. There are two second photographers I work with who both have over 10 years of experience and well over 250 weddings each. It is incredibly important for me to use quality second photographers so I never have to worry about the quality of work I will provide my couples.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
I don't charge any travel fees for any weddings within a 150-mile radius. Any other distances I charge $.60 a mile and hotel accommodations if it is going to need to be an overnight stay. If the wedding is over a 5-hour drive I may require flights, hotel, and rental car. I do this on a case by case basis and always discuss with the client before booking.
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
I don't include any prints or albums in my package. I give the client print release for all photos to allow them to print themselves as they would like. The couple and their loved ones do have the ability to order high-quality prints delivered directly to their door from the online gallery, and I can put together top tier wedding albums at an additional cost if requested by the couple.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
I guarantee my photos to be delivered within 2 weeks of their wedding day. My average is about 8 days. My ultimate goal is to deliver your wedding photos to you while you're on the honeymoon. It is incredibly important to me to deliver your photos to you while all the memories are fresh in your mind.
I deliver all photos through an online gallery when you can download and share your photos as you wish.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
If a couple cancels their wedding, I will retain the deposit and all payments that were due on the scheduled payments. If a couple pays for more than what is due, I will refund the extra amount they have paid. If I'm able to rebook the wedding date, I will refund 100% of the money they have paid.
