1. Introduction: What's your story?

Welcome to H Photography! We are a husband and wife team with a passion for capturing life's precious moments through photography. Our journey began in high school when I discovered my love for photography, and I have been behind the camera ever since. As a photojournalist in Romania, I had the opportunity to meet my wife Claudia, who also shared my passion for photography. Together, we worked as photographers for a cruise company for several years before deciding to start our own studio, H Photography.

At H Photography, we specialize in documentary fine art wedding photography, which combines elements of photojournalism, portraiture, and fashion. Our unique style captures the essence of each wedding and tells a story through our images. We believe that every couple is unique, and we take pride in capturing their personalities and individuality through our photographs.

We are honored to have been named The Knot Best of Weddings for four consecutive years from 2016 to 2019, as well as Wedding Wire Rated 2012 feature, a program based on recent newlywed reviews. In 2013, we received the Bride's Choice Award, which was based on the positive experiences expressed by our clients on Wedding Wire and The Knot, the world's largest wedding review site with over one million reviews. 2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

Thank you for your question! We have been shooting weddings for over 15 years and during that time, we have had the pleasure of photographing over 500 weddings. Our experience and expertise in the wedding photography industry allows us to capture the essence of each wedding and create beautiful, timeless images that our clients will treasure for years to come. We are committed to providing exceptional service and capturing the unique personalities of each couple we work with.

3. How would you describe your photography style?

Our photography style can best be described as a specialty in documentary fine art wedding photography. We blend elements of fashion, portraiture, and photojournalism to create images that tell a story and capture the essence of each wedding. We take a natural and unobtrusive approach to our photography, allowing us to capture candid moments and genuine emotions that reflect the unique personalities of each couple we work with. Our goal is to create beautiful, timeless images that our clients will treasure for years to come.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

We recommend that couples book their wedding photographer as soon as they have their wedding date and venue secured. Popular wedding photographers can book up quickly, especially during peak wedding season, so it's important to secure your photographer early on to ensure availability. We typically recommend that couples book their wedding photographer at least 6-12 months in advance to secure their preferred date and to allow for time to plan and prepare for the photography on their big day. However, we understand that every couple's timeline is unique, so we are always happy to work with our clients to accommodate their individual needs and preferences.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

We offer a range of wedding photography packages to meet the unique needs and preferences of our clients. Our packages vary in price and hours of coverage, as well as additional services such as engagement sessions, albums, prints, and more. We also offer custom packages for clients who have specific requests or requirements.

Our most popular photography package is our full-day coverage package, which includes up to 10 hours of coverage on the wedding day, a second photographer, a complimentary engagement session, digital images, and an online gallery for viewing and sharing your images. This package provides comprehensive coverage of your wedding day, from getting ready through to the end of the reception, and allows us to capture all the important moments and details that make your wedding day unique.

We understand that every wedding is different, and we are always happy to work with our clients to create a custom package that meets their individual needs and budget. Our goal is to provide exceptional service and beautiful, timeless images that our clients will treasure for a lifetime.

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

Yes, I am one of the wedding photographers who will be shooting on the wedding day. I am part of a team of skilled and experienced photographers who work together to ensure that every wedding we shoot receives the same level of exceptional service and beautiful images.

Depending on the size and scope of the wedding, we may also have a second photographer or an assistant working with us on the day. Our second photographer is also a skilled professional who has experience in wedding photography, and they work closely with us to capture different angles and perspectives of the wedding day. Our assistant helps us with lighting, equipment, and other tasks to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that we can focus on capturing beautiful images for our clients.

We work together seamlessly as a team to ensure that every aspect of the wedding photography is covered and that our clients receive exceptional service and beautiful images that they will treasure for years to come.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

Yes, we do charge a travel fee for weddings that are located outside of our local area. I would say outside of 100 miles from our office. The distance and amount of the fee will depend on the location of the wedding and the amount of travel required.

Typically, our travel fee covers our expenses for transportation, accommodations (if necessary), and any additional costs associated with shooting a wedding outside of our local area. These may include things like tolls, parking fees, and other incidentals that may arise during travel.

We are always transparent about our travel fees and will discuss them with our clients upfront so that there are no surprises. Our goal is to provide exceptional service and beautiful images for our clients, no matter where their wedding takes place, and we are happy to work with them to ensure that their wedding photography needs are met.

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

The inclusion of albums or prints in our wedding photography packages will depend on the specific package that our clients choose. Some of our packages include albums or prints as a standard feature, while others may require an additional fee for these services.

For clients who want to include albums or prints in their package, we offer a range of options to choose from, including high-quality albums and fine art prints that are designed to showcase the beauty of their wedding day. We work with our clients to select the best images for their album or prints and to create a design that reflects their unique style and vision.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

The timeframe for delivering images to the couple will depend on the specific package that they choose, as well as the amount of editing and post-production work required for their images. Typically, we aim to deliver the images to our clients within 4-6 weeks of their wedding day.

When the images are ready, we will provide the couple with a digital gallery where they can view and download their images. The digital gallery is an online platform that is easy to use and accessible from any device with an internet connection. The gallery allows the couple to share their images with family and friends, as well as to download and print their images as needed.

We also offer additional services, such as prints and albums, which may require additional time to produce and deliver. We will work with our clients to provide them with a timeline for these additional services, so they know what to expect and can plan accordingly.
