1. Introduction: What's your story?
hello! I'm Kendra the one lady operation behind Kendra Elise photography. I just love photographing weddings and sharing the beauty I see with others. I studied Fine Art Color + Fashion photography in college but weddings really stole my heart. I can combine my love for beautiful portraits with the fast paced moment catching of weddings
2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?
10 years + 250 weddings
3. How would you describe your photography style?
My style is honest moments captured with true to life colors
4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?
I typically book couples 18 months in advance but often times if you are getting married on a week day or Friday/Sunday the pressure to book that far out isn't as high. I actually book weddings all the time 4 months in advance!
5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?
I tell my couples my packages are just guidelines; if they want something specific to them let's talk about it and create a custom quote.
I offer welcome drink coverage, 12 hour wedding day, video, engagement sessions and more.
I do start at 3500 and quite frequently book multi day coverage events.
6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?
I'm the main photographer and do work with a second shooter but again not every couple needs or wants one so I'm flexible!
I use 3 cameras on my body all day but I don't mind it and each one serves a purpose.
But I do try my hardest to keep my impact minimal--no crazy lights or drones--so couples don't feel overwhelmed they just stay in their authentic selves sharing with me their true emotions...this also applies to guest!
7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?
Outside of Idaho I typically charge a travel fee for hotel and flight.
8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?
In my larger packages I do include prints and an album!
9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?
Even in my busiest part of the year I deliver full wedding galleries within 3 weeks.
10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?
I always lead with compassion and think about the situation--and try to work an alternative with my couples-- but this is my business at the end of the day with a lot of overhead costs and a lot of time goes into consultation/booking a wedding-- so no refunds.
