1. Introduction: What's your story?

Rob started his photography journey back in 2013 the very first time he picked up a camera he realized how natural it was for him to create magic. And he did! In less than a year at mastering his craft he became an award-winning photographer… the one photographer all the models had to shoot with! And this is how it all started, during that time he traveled to countless states and different countries just creating beautiful pictures with all the beautiful models under his name Rob Lo 305.

In 2014 Rob and Millie met for the first time coincidentally at photoshoot in his condo and it was love at first sight, with ups and downs like every relationship has they never looked back. Fast forward 2017 they became parents for the first time and even though photography was always part of the family Rob knew that there was always something more fulfilling than just the modeling industry and in September 2018 they joined forces and Solo Mio Photography was born.

Rob is a Military Veteran from Brooklyn and Millie is a Nurse from Panama, the love for photography increased once they became a family. They enjoyed taking their own maternity pictures and also pictures of Caleb & Maximus their two beautiful boys. They wanted Solo Mio Photography to capture “LOVE”, the kind of love that you can only see when you freeze time through an image; to capture the moments between the moments during the most special days of people’s lives.

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

Believe it or not we started doing weddings in 2018, even though we have years of experience we've only been doing weddings for 3 years so far we have done more than 200 weddings!

3. How would you describe your photography style?

Anybody can pick up a camera, put a couple lights up, add some presets, artificial editing and say “I am a Wedding Photographer”. Wedding Photography is a work of art, is capturing a moment that will never happen again and make it last forever! We love that about weddings.

We are proud lovers of natural light, candid moments, moments between the moments that you didn’t even notice until you see your pictures.

We do things a bit differently. We don’t want you to hire us because of price or convenience. We want you to hire us because you trust that we will tell your story, unscripted, with messy hair and ripped jeans. We would much rather you go with another photographer in order for you to get the best possible experience, because the experience you have with your photographer strongly reflects how you feel about your photos later on. We want us both to be screaming from the rooftops and doing happy dances in our sweats at home about working together— that’s what you deserve from a photographer.

With that said, if you need someone to “Take Pictures” don’t hire us. We are not the right fit for you. Solo Mio Photography delivers forever memories, those pieces that you want up on your walls… not just pictures but artwork.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

We would say 12 to 18 months in advance, but if you live in Miami for us 2 weeks is enough!

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

We are a family! Of course you have Rob & Millie (husband and wife team), Damian, Alex, Sean and Darvin. We also have our Solo Mio Films teams (Damian and Alex) they take care of all the cinematography.
