1. Introduction: What's your story?

I am Greg Huskin, owner and photographer/videographer at Avstatmedia. I am a visual storyteller with many decades of experience. My passion for the photographic arts has led me to capturing thousands of couples weddings in the Tampa Bay area. I studied at The University of Tampa. I am trusted by Dan Abrams.

2. How long have you been shooting weddings? How many weddings have you photographed?

I started Avstatmedia in 2007 with my wife, we do this full time, not just on the weekends. I am very familiar with most venues within a 50 mile radius. I am a preferred vendor at many local venues. We average approximately 150 weddings a year and have been doing this for 15+ years, so have many weddings under my belt.

3. How would you describe your photography style?

My photographic style would be photo journalistic, with a flair for the iconic, classic, traditional.

4. How well in advance should couples book their wedding photographer?

You should book your photographer as soon as possible. Most couples book at least 1 year in advance. Peak times of the year are spring and fall, these months book up quickly. We do last minutes all the time, but generally speaking couples hire us 1-2 years in advance.

5. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

We have 3 basic packages that we offer, ranging from 4-8 hours, but we can customize a package for you as well. All Saturday's have a minimum of 6 hours. You can add on albums, prints, slideshows, and video. Extra hours are at a rate of $150 per hour.

6. Are you the wedding photographer who will be shooting on the wedding day? Who else is there in your team?

We have a team of 4 photographer's on staff at all times.

7. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

We do not charge for travel for the first 100 miles and then it is $2.00 per mile after that.

8. Are albums or prints included in your packages?

Albums and prints can be purchased at an additional charge.

9. How long after the wedding will the couple receive the images? How will they be delivered?

Our turn around time is approximately 30 days from the day of your wedding. If needed before then, we do try to accommodate.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

Our cancellation policy states that initial retainer fee is non refundable. If you need to re schedule (due to pandemic like circumstances) we will apply the retainer fee to the new date.
