1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hi I’m Elizabeth Alfonso, founder and lead makeup artist at The Havana Salon & makeup and hair by Elizabeth Alfonso.

My love for hair & makeup started over 7 years ago when I was at cosmetology school. Over the years, I have been helping clients to look their best in the Houston area and beyond for their very special occasions.

Every client I meet is beautiful, and my job is to make them feel that way. I have been a professional makeup artist since 2014, and my work is fresh and flawless.

With my home base in Houston, I’m the go-to hair & makeup artist for all parties, events, weddings and makeovers. When you think makeup and hair, think about us. I offer makeup and hair services for all sorts of occasions and use only the best quality products on your skin and hair.

2. What's your experience as a bridal hair & makeup artist? How many brides are in there in your portfolio?

Over the years, i've styled over 20 brides to be, including their engagement and wedding pictures and events. Being part of this moment for the bride is the best reward for me. Being chosen as the make up artist and hair stylist on this day is an honor for me as I can envision the magic and make your dreams come true.

3. What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

My most popular offer is for $165 hair and makeup
this includes: 1) Strips Lashes and 2) Your makeup of preference ( airbrush or traditional), this offer doesn't include blowout.

4. Do you have a team of assistants or will you be the only artist that day? What will happen if you're sick or have an emergency on the wedding day?

Prior to the wedding day, I meet or talk to the person in charge, either the bride or a coordinator, to know exactly the looks everyone on the bridal party wants and organized by the name and look, we usually do make and hair at the same time, 1 artist doing makeup and the other one doing hair, that way we can work faster and finish on time.

I have a team ready to assist on the wedding day, depending on the number of services, we can add the number of stylists, but the lead artist of the day will be Elizabeth Alfonso.

In case of an emergency, we have all the team ready to assist and make this day memorable.

5. Do you charge a travel fee? For what distance? What does that cover?

I do charge travel fees, but is always depending on the location, once II have the location I will provide the travel fees, if apply. This travel fees will only cover for each stylists' travel fee, any additions such as valet parking or parking fee, have to be add to the bill at the end of the services. (at least other wise)

6. Can the bride book a wedding makeup trial appointment and will you also do a trial before the wedding?

Yes, the bride can book a makeup and hair trial prior the wedding day, always recommend to do, so you can see a clear look of your wedding day services, in case you want to change or change your mind.

7. What beauty products do you use and would you be open to the bride using her own make-up?

I have a variety of makeup and hair products, but some of my main products are:

1) Morphe
2) Benefit
3) Oribe
4) Lancome
5) Danessa Myricks ..... and much more

If the bride or any other person wants to use their own products, we be assist the same at the same price.

8. How can you make the bride's wedding makeup last and look good in photos?

Either with airbrush or traditional, I use an alcohol base setting spray (airbrush), that will set the makeup for better stay and better picture results.

9. How long will makeup take on the day and how long will you be staying for on the day?

The makeup & hair usually takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete (at max.), and I will only stay till the time the bride-to-be is about to walk for final touch ups.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

* A 50 % deposit of the total payment, NOT REFUNDABLE , have to be pay prior book any appointment.

* Full amount of the total services will charge, if cancel, or no show to the appointment.
