1. Introduction: What's your story?

Hey, my name is Sarah & I am the owner of Forage Arizona. I have always been the artistic type but no other medium feels quite as right as flowers do; flowers and I just seem to click. I grew up on a fruit, vegetable, flower, and maple farm back in Western NY so getting my hands dirty and working with plants and flowers is something that feels so familiar to me.

What we aim to achieve at Forage is to bring bespoke floral designs to people's extraordinary and big life moments no matter where they live in the state of Arizona. Growing up in a small town, I know the frustration of not having too many options to choose from when it comes to service providers. Weddings are a once-in-a-lifetime celebration and we think you deserve to have the vision you desire regardless of where you live. Because of this, we cater to clients statewide and encourage folks to embrace the natural beauty that the state of Arizona has to offer.

We gladly offer pricing options to meet a range of visions and budgets, to bring you flowers you can feel good about! We believe flowers should be of the highest quality, ethically and sustainably sourced, and should be a reflection of you and your unique personality. Because of this, we have a completely bespoke approach to floral design.

2. What's your experience as a wedding florist business? How many weddings are in there in your portfolio?

We have done over 50 weddings at this point and are gearing up for a pretty crazy 2022. To keep our sanity, we are aiming to keep it to 30 weddings this year.

3. How far in advance do couples need to secure your services?

Totally depends - we have some dates that have been booked over a year in advance and some lucky couples are able to book us a month out if we have an opening.

That being said, we recommend reaching out about 8-10 months prior to your wedding.

4. How do you price your floral arrangements? What are the different packages that you offer and which one is your most popular package?

We offer à la carte and full service.

Our full-service wedding package is definitely the most popular because it's the full gamut! This is our stress-free option, because you have enough to worry about on your wedding day. Full-service means you get the peace of mind that your flowers will be delivered, set up, and taken down, so all you have to do is show up and look fabulous!

Full-service includes as many consultations as you need prior to your big day including a venue walkthrough.

Our full service packages require a minimum order of $2700 for 2022. Typically clients spend around $3400 with us.

Our À la carte package option lets you pick and choose what you need to complete your vision. We will work with you to make sure the products you receive from us match your aesthetic and color palette. Additional items may be added to your order if you need to make swaps and alterations.

This would be a great option for clients who have booked a venue that provides the centerpieces but you still need bouquets and boutonnières, and maybe a ceremony installation.

We drop off the flowers but you/your venue would handle the setup of the decor.

Our à la carte packages require a minimum order of $500 + delivery fee for 2022.

5. How many meetings will you have with the couple, and how will they be involved?

We generally have 3 meetings - one to go over the checklist of items they're looking for, one to go over the proposal in detail and tweak it to their desire, and a third meeting about 2 weeks out to coordinate the last-minute logistics.

We can have as many meetings as needed to ensure all the peace of mind between us and the client.

6. Who else is in your team and how many people on your staff will be at the wedding?

We have a small team of interns and freelance florists available for larger, more elaborate events. Generally, one person from our team will staff your wedding.

7. How would you describe your design style? (e.g. traditional, modern, rustic, organic)

Whimsical and "gardenesque", slightly boho without being too trendy, and just a pinch of modern. We love an eclectic mix of sizes, textures, and colors.

8. Who will handle setup and delivery? What other services do you offer?

We handle the setup, delivery, and teardown.

We can arrange for custom signage and structures to be made as well such as welcome signs or custom arches.

9. What happens to the flowers after the wedding?

We want our clients to take home every single flower that they paid for so we encourage that. We however do need all of our vases back as they are part of our inventory so we coordinate a way to get those all back within about a week.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

We require 25% down to book which is non-refundable but can be applied as credit for future services - we can always work something out.
