1. Introduction: What's your story?

Party Girl Entertainment is run and operated by Amy Reid; an active Baltimore DJ, musician and events curator performing since 2010. Driven by music, a sincere joy of the dance floor and the power it has to bring people together, she formed PGE in 2019 with this goal in mind. Performing in spaces ranging from DIY foundations to museums, she is happy to accommodate venues both intimate and expansive. In 2017, The Baltimore Sun deemed Reid as one of “10 Baltimore Musicians on the Rise.” She has also been featured in Baltimore Magazine’s “Faces of Pride” issue in 2019. Her favorite party starters are Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance.”

2. What's your experience as a wedding DJ? How many weddings have you done?

I have djed approximately 25 weddings, hundreds of dance parties and many other events including doing the pre-party for a John Mayer concert at the Modell Lyric Opera House.

3. How far in advance do couples need to book your services?

I book anywhere from years in advance to a couple of months in advance.

4. What's your rate? What does that include?

I offer different packages in hope to be able to cater to a range of clients, never sacrificing quality.

Lets Elope Package- $500
Includes: One site set-up for up to 4 hours of any combination of cocktail hour, dinner and/or dancing.

Full Day Package- $800
Includes: One site set-up for up to 8 hours of any combination of ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception.

Deluxe Package- $1,000
Includes: Two site set-ups for up to 8 hours of any combination of ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception.

Extras:
$100 an hour for overtime
accent lighting available upon request

5. Are you available to travel if needed?

Yes! I am happy to travel for wedding services as long as they meet a minimum of $800.

6. How would you describe your style?

My favorite genres are funk, disco, top-40, R&B, dance, a smattering of rock and roll/ country and my all time favorite, house music. I love a range of genres spanning from brand new jams to throw backs and classics of all decades. I leave my ego at the door and want to make sure I play all the songs that you want to hear while applying my mixing techniques and flavor.

7. What's your backup plan if there's an equipment malfunction? Do you bring backup equipment?

I always bring backup equipment! I am prepared for any disaster that comes my way but try to eliminate as many obstacles beforehand to set myself and the celebration up for success.

8. What's your sick day policy?

I have a very supportive network of other djs in my circuit that I can call if I am unable to fulfill my end of the contract due to an emergency of health issue. I have never had to cancel an event yet!

9. How do you motivate a shy crowd to dance? What do you do to motivate the crowd if nobody is dancing?

There are a few songs that I keep on deck that are undeniable party starters. I also try to hype up the crowd without being over the top on the microphone.

10. What is your cancellation and/or refund policy?

If I cannot fulfill my end of the contract I offer 100% refund. If the wedding party needs to cancel I keep the 10% deposit and refund the rest no questions asked. If it is a date change and I am available, no refund/ change needed!
